Yes!
Yes! I have had them in the past a few years ago, a couple of times. Currently, after keeping a dream journal for a few weeks I did have another that I could say I deliberately induced through the methods I mentioned previously. It was cool, but brief. Here is the entry from my handwritten journal:
7/16/2008 Bismallah ar Rahman ar Rahim. The sensation of being consciously aware in a dream was that there was a clear physical sense of vibrations all over, like I was fully submerged in water that was vibrating, effecting everything, sound, light, etc. I am curious to know if this perception will be repeated or will there be other sensations. I have heard that the level of lucidity can be alarming, apparently it can feel more "real" than waking consciousness. I think it is fascinating that I retained memory, obviously intention is a LOT more important than I ever thought. Just the experience alone convinces me of the consequences of intention, prayer, & sending peace out to the world. Its hard to explain, but these altered states bring a new level of certainty which physical existence lacks, IMO.
dream: In bed thinking about Shayim's kids and Melissa and how we share a room. I go to another room past an old friend, I notice he's punching a kid and I remark,"how come you're always beating someone up?" I go to the bathroom with a sandwich (!) and while going I accidentally soiled my pants. Apparently there are lots of other pants around, cause I begin to look around for another cleaner pair. At this point I realize I'm dreaming. Yeah!
I was fairly calm, said "Alhumduiallah" and strode off looking for something to do. I looked at my hands and repeated, 'this is a dream.' I had memory, memory of what I had read about to do inorder to facillitate lucid dreams. After a minuet of walking I started to lose the visual part of the dream, so I said aloud, "restore visuals" ~ a technique passed on. A little something faded back in but then my consciousness quickly shifted to my body in bed.
